The pre-installed NVG interface shoe is used to mount NVG on a standard dovetail-type headset or helmet mount. The bayonet/horn mount interface shoe (included in the kit) is used for mounting NVG on a standard bayonet/horn mount headset and helmet mount.
The NVG interface shoe with connector (additional accessory) is used to install NVG-40/NVG-50 on standard headset and helmet mounts of the "dovetail" type and connect the battery.
The Mini-Rail Interface Shoe is used to mount NVG on mounts with a mini-rail interface. The Mini-Rail Interface Shoe is included in the additional AGM Goggle Kit W and AGM Helmet Mount kit.
